Nintendo Okie Podcast - Episode 118

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse from last week’s Amazon Japan debacle, Micah says the words “Animal Crossing toys.”  I think we need to shut off our internet.  It’s the only way we can be safe from all the amazing things Japan has to offer.  Anyway, during the podcast we talk about some games; like Medieval Moves for example.  We also hit what news we could scrape together for the week including the lastest from 38 Studios and an unhealthy amount of rumors and patents.  Great job, Jeremy!

Nintendo Okie Podcast - Episode 117

This podcast is almost not about video games.  It starts off with a huge tangent about Amazon.co.jp and it ends with the Statue of Liberty fighting a Gundam.    I think Tony has some news at some point but we are weeks away from E3, so there is no news.  Can’t E3 get here sooner?

It’s late so here is a link dump.  The Question Block, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, forum.

Nintendo Okie Podcast - Episode 116

We got the full crew back this week as Shannon has returned from his fight against the evil, virus king.  Another slow news week but we manage to fill out the show with a little more WIYW talk than normal.  As for the news itself, we hit a collection of smaller stories with some longer quotes… if you’re into that sort of thing.  Also, I explode into a GameStop rant towards the end of the show.  E3 is one week closer.  I’m so not ready for it.

Episode 116
Hosts: Tony, Shelby, Micah, Shannon

Smurf Talk - Episode 1

This was too good to not see the light of day. Back on Episode 91 of the Nintendo Okie Podcast Shelby and I got side tracked and spent a good amount of time talking about the Smurfs. Shelby was amazed that I actually knew a lot about the Smurfs, but it’s a bunch of silly fun. This was originally hidden in the post of Episode 91, but you had to do a little bit of digging to find it. I thought this was too good to not hear so I’m posting it here for everyone’s enjoyment.

Nintendo Okie Podcast - Episode 115

What happens when we don’t play any games and there is no news?  We make a short show.  We barely manage to fill an hour this week due to the E3 drought and life keeping us from playing games.   During the news we talk about how games don’t make any money unless it’s called Call Of Duty.  Also, Micah almost ODs on food, Tony threatens to hurt his cats and I complain about bugs in my house.  Oh gad, is E3 here yet?
